About Me
Kendra Harvey, Founder & Coach
About Me: Being a coach is my dream job. I get to bring my full self, knowledge, and deep curiosity to each session. As a lifelong gardener, I have come to realize that I don’t grow things. I can only create the conditions conducive to growth. I’m always grateful to be a witness to what grows and that is just one of the reasons I find such joy in coaching.
I live in Richmond, VA, with my husband and our 2 cats and dog. I am an aunt to two beautiful children and spend as much time with my family as possible.
I enjoy the simple life of gardening, bird watching, and settling into a hammock with a good fiction book. I also watch a lot of television. Like, a lot. All-time favorites: Mad Men and Friday Night Lights.
Bio: Prior to completing the Leadership Coaching Program at Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Change, Kendra worked as an Advisor to the Director of the District Department of Transportation in Washington, DC. She also served as a political appointee at the White House and US Department of Transportation from 2013-2016, culminating in the role of Deputy Assistant Secretary for Management and Administration. Before these roles, she served on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Assistant and got her start as field staff on political campaigns.
